Pretty much the same as in debian, except unstable replaced by gutsy (both in source.list and preferences). See http://wiki.serios.net/wiki/Apt-Pinning_on_Ubuntu
$ sudo apt-get install wammu python-gammu libc6 libgammu1 -t gutsy
makes 29.2MB to download, 19.4MB of additional disk space to be used.
